Who we are
Ben Lomond Water was formed when the state government established the organisation as one of three new water corporations under the Water and Sewerage Corporations Act 2008. From 1 July 2009, we will provide water and wastewater services in the north of Tasmania for the residents of eight northern Tasmanian councils including Break O’Day, Dorset, George Town, Launceston City, Meander Valley, Northern Midlands, Flinders and West Tamar Councils.
Ben Lomond Water will merge the bulk water supply operations of Esk Water with the water and wastewater operations of the eight northern Tasmanian councils.
