What our responsibilities are:
From 1 July 2009, Ben Lomond Water will be responsible for all water and wastewater operations for the residents in the region spanning, Break O’Day, Dorset, George Town, Launceston City, Meander Valley, Northern Midlands, Flinders and West Tamar Councils in northern Tasmania.
Our responsibilities are outlined in Ben Lomond's Interim Customer Service Standards.
Ben Lomond Water Interim Licence
An Interim Licence has been issued by the Minister for Primary Industries and Water pursuant to Section 89 of the Water and Sewerage Industry Act 200. The interim licence authorises Ben Lomond Water to undertake water and sewerage regulated activities in accordance with the Act.
Shareholders' Letter of Expectation
The Shareholders’ Letter of Expectation is issued by the Shareholders of the Tasmanian Water and Sewer Corporation (Northern Region) Pty Ltd. Its purpose is to communicate the shareholders’ high-level performance expectations and strategic priorities to the Board of the Corporation.
